What Are Herb Food Concentrates?
Herb food concentrates are formulated to provide nutrition for all the systems of the body. They include food grade herbs, fruits, and vegetables.
Because cells have different needs, different plants feed different cells. All plants contain very general nutrients, like vitamins C or A. Some plants, however, are more specific in nature.
The ancient Chinese called these kinds of plants “superior” herbs; we call them regenerative. We say a plant regenerates the body when specific whole plants provide specific chemicals for specific cells. The cells use these chemicals as raw materials to keep that part of the body healthy.
There Are 3 Kinds Of Foods:
Substitute Foods. Also called medicine herbs. These herbs help the body do a function the body should be doing for itself. These should be taken temporarily and prescribed by an herbalist.
Maintenance Foods. These we find in the supermarkets and on the salad bar. They feed the entire body with basic nutrients and provide bulk to the diet. When most people do eat whole foods, this is the kind they eat.
Regenerative Foods. The Chinese believed that these foods nourish specific parts of the body by favoring specific genes. They called these foods “superior,” because they had no toxic side effects and merely nourished the body. Our formulas are made from these foods.
